Deadbody Found Hanging from Electric Pole Near Budurail Bridge Shocks Silchar

In a shocking incident, a body was found hanging from an electric pole near the Budurail Bridge near the Kathal Road area near Ramnagar By-pass in Silchar on Saturday morning, creating a wave of panic in the area. A man in his late 30s to early 40s, wearing a yellow-green striped polo t-shirt and a green bermuda was found hanging from the pole. Whether it is a suicide or a murder is yet to be seen.

Local residents first noticed the body and immediately alerted the authorities. Police, accompanied by a magistrate, arrived at the scene and retrieved the body.

The body of the deceased person has been sent to the Silchar Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination.
