India Book of Records to induct Cachar District Administration in its 2022 edition

In a bid to create and instil voter awareness among the citizens regarding the upcoming assembly election in Assam, the District Administration of Cachar has undertaken numerous initiatives till now. The grandest of them till now would be a rangoli event scheduled on March 14, which is set to claim the world record for creating the longest rangoli on voters awareness. The record will be attempted to be set by the Cachar district administration on March 14 at the Borkhola constituency.

The India Book of Records has already issued the detailed guidelines and criteria for conducting the event as per the International Protocol of Records (IPR). They were invited by the Cachar District Administration to adjudicate the event on March 14. The claimant, Cachar District Administration, will be eligible to enter in the India Book of Records, 2022 edition if it successfully conducts the event.

In this commendable effort to create history, the District Administration of Cachar is being assisted by the Art World group of Silchar. The Cachar District Administration has also invited the media personnel to cover the event which will be held from Dolu Market to Hatichara from 7 am of March 14.
