Madhyasahar Sanskritik Samitee organises a condolence meeting in the memory of Sayantan Chakraborty
Barak Valley is still reeling over the grief caused by the sad demise of 25-year-old Sayantan Chakraborty popularly known as Roumya. On October 8, 2019, he succumbed to a cardiac arrest. After he complained of chest pain he was taken to private nursing homes and then Silchar Medical College, where the doctor reffered him NEIGRIHMS in Shillong as he needed to undergo Angioplasty. Sayantan lost his life on the way to Shillong in an ambulance.
Madhyasahar Sanskritik Samitee, one of the renowned cultural organisations in Barak Valley organised a condolence meet in the memory of Sayantan Chakraborty on October 19, 2019. Sayantan was an active member of the committee and used to play cricket for Madhyasahar team. In the past he has held senior positions in the Durga Puja Committee too.
The meet will take place at Madhyasahar’s hall at 6:00 PM. “We request all his friends, family, relatives, neighbours and all other close ones to join us,” said the association through a media statement.
