Disturbed by his Class 12 results, NC College's Rajiv Ghosh commits suicide

In a tragic turn of affairs, Rajiv Ghosh, student of Nabinchandra College, Badarpur committed suicide. Ghosh had appeared for the Class XII examination conducted earlier this year. Yesterday, the results were declared and Ghosh got to know that he could only manage to go pass the examinations securing third division marks. As per his relatives, this performance disturbed him to the extent that he committed suicide at his own residence today morning.

Rajiv Ghosh is the son of Ratan Ghosh a resident of Railway colony Badarpur. Rajiv hanged himself at the kitchen of their residence in Badarpur. His family members found him hanging on a rod on the ceiling. Police went to the spot and found that Rajiv had used his own belt to hang himself.

We reached out to the principal of Nabin Chandra College but he said he did not know about any such incident.

Rajiv’s family and friends are in a state of shock and the vicinity is mourning the sudden death of a young boy.
