The project aims to establish a state-of-the-art Medical College and Hospital in the heart of Ram Krishna Nagar, Karimganj.

Under the aegis of the Special Chief Engineer, P.W.D. (Bldg.) (Health & Education), Assam, acting on behalf of the Governor of Assam, the tendering process for this momentous healthcare and educational infrastructure endeavor has been set in motion. The process will include an online PC Mode-1 e-tendering system conducted with a meticulous two-bid evaluation process, scrutinizing both Eligibility and Financial aspects.

This ambitious project, named the “Establishment of New Medical College and Hospital at Ram Krishna Nagar, Karimganj,” comes with an approximate project value of a staggering Rs 532,604,969.1 (Five Hundred Thirty-Two Crores Sixty Lakhs Forty-Nine Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-One Indian Rupees). The project timeline encompasses a concise three-month design and planning phase, followed by an extensive 33-month construction and completion phase.

All interested parties are strongly encouraged to visit the dedicated e-procurement portal at www.assamtenders.gov.in to access essential documents, including the Notice Inviting Tenders (NIT) and other pertinent project details.

Moreover, the project’s issuing authority has outlined specific guidelines for potential bidders, emphasizing that the “Work will be awarded solely upon the receipt of Approval or Authorization (A/A) from the competent authority.” Bidders are also advised to note that the NIT value may be subject to alteration during the tender uploading process on the website, and are encouraged to meticulously review the Detailed NIT in the bid document for any updates.
