Karimganj Police recovers heroin worth Rs 2 crore from a Gaushala 

Based on a secret tipoff, the Karimganj Police led by Additional SP, Partho Pratim Das launched an overnight operation in the South Keoti area.

The Police personnel raided houses as per the tip and eventually traced down the consignment in a Gaushala. Karimganj Police informed that there were 19 soap cases containing heroin worth Rs 2 crore hidden in the Gaushala. According to the Karimganj Police, the consignment had 260 grams of heroin.

The Police informed that three individuals have been arrested in connection with the drugs. Abdul Salik, Abdul Fattah and Shahjahan Uddin have been arrested. All three are residents of Patherkandi area.
