"Lucknowi kurtis or light-weight organza sarees," here's Saara Shabnam's Durga Puja fashion tips for women

After a positive response to our earlier fashion story, we now got Saara Shabnam to share her Puja fashion tips.

She is into the fashion business for the past two years and running a successful
She would be sharing with us her ideas about Indian wear for this pujo

In a conversation with our corespondent, Shabnam, owner of Zaara Collection said, “This pujo I would suggest Lucknowi kurti as this is the most trending among all the kurti designs. It’s all about going back to classy 70’s and 80’s looks.”

By hearing the name Lucknowi kurti what usually comes in our mind is some beautifully hand embroidered material. Since the apparel is simple yet gives a very sober look, it can be paired up with any sort of bottoms, be it trendy formal pants/jeans/jeggings/sharara /palazzo etc.

“The accessories which would compliment this apparel are long oxidised earrings or some jaipuri or bohemian earrings with some classy hand work/embroidered Jaipuri juttis,” she further added.

Shabnam also shared with us that even she feels that during Durga Pujo, Bengali saree has a separate fanbase and acceptance. Girls of every age group manage to drape themselves in sarees atleast once during pujo. She shared, “For them organza saree is in trend this year. Pastel shades and its light weight makes it widely acceptable this summer.”

But the ones who do not prefer sarees can go for jaipuri kurta with shrug over it which is also in trend this year.

“Anarkali, designer lehenga choli, embellished flared kurti can also be given a thought.
For the one, who prefer western outfit can go for tube dresses, bodycon dresses or shorts with crop tops,” shared Shabnam.

Have a happy and fashionable Durga Pujas!
