It was not a very good morning for Hailakandi resident, Amlan Debnath who woke up to a shock. His blue Royal Enfield Classic 350 went missing from his own verandah. His iron gate was cut and the bolts were forced out of the wall. At around 6:00 AM in the morning, he was sure that his motorcycle has been stolen.

Amlan Debnath son of Arjun Debnath is a resident of ward number nine, Kachari Road in Hailakandi. He has lodged a police complaint after realising that his motorcycle is missing.

In his complaint, he wrote that his AS 24 A 9250 was parked at his own residence and at about 6:00 AM he realised it is missing. “I found that the grill is broken and the bolts are forcefully dismantled,” he wrote in the complaint.

He has submitted the complaint in Hailakandi Sadar Police Station and now it remains to be seen if the officials manage to nab the culprits and recover the motorcycle that costs between Rs 1.13 to 1.40 lakh on road.
