Professor Joydeep Biswas and wife prof Sumita Bhattacharjee test positive for COVID19

Associate Professor and Head, Department of Economics, Cachar College Joydeep Biswas and his wife professor Sumita Bhattacharjee have tested positive for COVID19.

Both of them were suffering from mild fever for a week. Today, they went to Green Heals Hospital to get themselves tested. “After undergoing test on RAT kit, both of us tested positive,” informed professor Biswas.

He added, after observing the symptoms both of them were mentally prepared. “We came to the hospital prepared. Got both us admitted to the hospital for treatment,” said Biswas.
