Special Bharat Darshan tour package Shri Rampath Yatra From Agartala to places associated with Lord Rama

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC), a PSU under the Ministry of Railways has organised exclusive Bharat Darshan Tour package Shri Rampath Yatra to Northern India covering religious places of interest related to Lord Rama. Varanasi – Ayodha – Prayagraj (Allahabad) will be covered in the itinerary. Visit to iconic places with historical and religious importance have been kept in the program. On earlier occasions several successful tours have been organised covering places associated with Lord Rama. However this is the first instance when such a trip is organised from the North Eastern part of the Country to meet the demands of this region.

The special tourist train will originate from Agartala on 23rd February 2021 at evening (tentatively at 16.00 hrs) with stoppages for passenger boarding/ de-boarding at Dharmanagar – New Karimganj – Badarpur- Guwahati – New Bongaigaon – New Cooch Behar – New Jalpaiguri – Katihar. Schedule stoppage at Guwahati for passenger boarding will be on 24th February, 2021 at morning 08.00 hrs tentatively. The total fare for the 9 days / 8 nights package is Rs. 8,505/- per person. The fare for this trip is all inclusive which comprises of the entire train journey by sleeper class, on-board security guards, all fooding (vegetarian), drinking water, escorts and guides, budget accommodation at the place/s of overnight stay, land transportation arrangements, travel insurance.

The passengers and their luggage will be sanitized before boarding the trains and all parameters related to Covid-19 will be strictly followed. Basic safety gears like mask, sanitizers will be provided to the passengers on the train. As Bharat Darshan train journeys are mostly preferred by the senior citizens, utmost care would be taken for the safety of the passengers with no compromise on sanitisation and hygiene.

As the tourist movements are gradually getting restored, it is expected that people of the region would be in high spirits to witness the historic places related to Shri Ram covered in the itinerary.

Passengers can book the ticket for the journey through IRCTC Tourism portal (www.irctctourism.com). Tickets can also be booked from authorized e-ticket and tourism agents of IRCTC without paying any extra amount. Booking can also be done from the Regional Office of IRCTC located at Ambari, Guwahati.
