The Saga Continues: Day 3 of Train Cancellation between Silchar to Guwahati

Back-to-back cancellations of Silchar to Guwahati trains have left Barak Valley cut off from the rest of the world for three consecutive days, all due to the havoc wreaked by the Kaal Baishakhi storms. The aftermath of these storms disrupted land transportation from Barak Valley to the wider world.

On April 30, the N.F. Railway announced the cancellation of trains for May 1. On May 1, it was revealed that trains for May 2 were cancelled, and now, on May 2, it’s been communicated that trains for May 3 are also cancelled, partially cancelled, rescheduled, and regulated due to ongoing essential restoration work at the accident-affected track between Jatinga Lampur and New Harangajao.

– 15867 GHY-BPB Tourist Exp
– 15868 BPB-GHY Tourist Exp
– 15611 RNY-SCL Exp
– 15612 SCL-RNY Exp
– 15617 GHY-DLCR Exp
– 15618 DLCR-GHY Exp
– 15638 SCL-NHLN Spl
– 15637 NHLM-SCL Spl
– 15641 SCL-NTSK Exp
– 15642 NTSK-SCL Exp

Partially Cancelled Trains:

– 13173 Sealdah to Agartala Kanchanjangha Express: Cancelled between Lamding to Agartala
– 15175 Sealdah to Silchar Kanchanjangha Express: Cancelled between Lamding to Silchar.
– 13174 Agartala to Sealdah Kanchanjangha Express: Cancelled between Agartala to Lamding
– 13176 Silchar to Sealdah Kanchanjangha Express: Cancelled between Silchar to Lamding.

Furthermore, 07029 SC-AGTL Spl has been rescheduled to 23:50 hours instead of 06:20 hours. And 20502 ANVT-AGTL Tejas Rajdhani, has been regulated suitably between GHY-NHLG.
