Durga Puja and immersion permission allotment application to end on October 22

District Development Commissioner cum CEO District Disaster management Authority, Cachar Jessica Lalsim issued a notice on Wednesday which states that the Durga Puja committees and others who have still not applied for puja permission or immersion permission slot allotment are to submit their application latest by October 22 till 12 pm, after which no more application will be entertained. However permission for the submitted application will be distributed and issued till 5PM of October 22.

It is pertinent to mention that this year immersion is an extended affair and without slot no immersion will be allowed, the order stated.

Those who will not have an alloted time slot might have to face consequences during immersion, as a pre-planned proper sequential approach is adopted this year for a hassle free immersion process.

Willing puja committees who have still not applied for puja permission or immersion permission allotment slot may submit the hardcopy to DDMA or mail application to ddmacachar@gmail.com before the mentioned date.
