Kaidi Free Bikers Group holds bike rally in Silchar, appeals to vote for Parimal

Expressing their solidarity with Parilmal Suklabidya, the Kaidi (caged) Free Soul bikers group has campaigned for the BJP candidate in various assembly constituencies of Cachar. The bike rally of the group went through all the main roads of Cachar and concluded on Wednesday evening in the Lakhipur area. Suklabaidya, the former Transport Minister of Assam, in the biker group’s opinion, has done significant work to improve connectivity within Assam. This is the reason, the otherwise apolitical group has decided to campaign for the BJP in Cachar.

On Wednesday, the bike rally started by the members of the Free Soul Riders Group from Silchar donning the party symbols and flags of the Bharatiya Janata Party. After riding through all the significant parts of the district, covering all the seven Legislative Assembly constituencies, the bike rally concluded in Lakhipur in the evening. On behalf of the biker group, Jumma Khan said, “Being bikers who have travelled through the different parts of the country, we have seen the improvement in the road conditions with our own eyes. Everyone knows what the road condition was during the Congress rule. We usually don’t go into party politics but to express our heartfelt thanks to Parimal Ji, we are doing this bike rally and we will cover all the areas of the constituency”.

The Biker Group has also urged the public to come out in numbers to vote. “Only when everyone votes, we get a better government. To get our basic demands fulfilled, we should vote to choose the government and the party we want to see in power”, further added Khan.

Another member of the group, while briefing the media said, “This is one the biggest festival of our country, the festival of democracy. We are happy to see a Viksit Bharat and we would want more such development works to continue. We want to see BJP in power for the third term”.

It is worth mentioning here that, as a Transport Minister of the state, Parimal Suklabaidya went on a statewide bike rally, raising awareness about road safety. The rally, which began on World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims last December, was called the ‘Path Suraksha Jan Andolan’.
