Cachar DC Keethi Jalli visits Silchar Civil Hospital, ISBT; takes stock of situation

Newly transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Cachar – Keerthi Jalli visited S. M. Dev Civil Hospital along with additional deputy commissioner, Sumit Sattavan earlier today. She visited the Health Control Room located on the first floor of the S. M. Dev Civil Hospital and took stock of the process of the response system.

Later, she also visited the hospital campus along with the superintendent of the hospital and reviewed the quarantine and isolation facilities. Dr. S. J. Das, Jt Director of Health Services, Dr. Ajit Bhattacharjee, DSO, IDSP, Rahul Ghose, DPM, and Suman Choudhury, DME, NHM joined Keerthi Jalli in her visit.

Later on, she visited the screening centers at the veterinary hospital, Ghungoor, and ISBT. Jalli has held discussion with Police personnel and ISBT staff, officials of the Health Department and reviewed the screening process of passengers coming from various states. According to a press statement, “Deputy commissioner Keerthi Jalli gave some important instructions which are to be implemented on a priority basis.”
