In fact, BJP’s star campaigners who travelled to Silchar ensured that they mention two-time MLA and rebelling candidate, Dilip Paul at least once. On the other hand, Dipayan Chakraborty who was criticised as the “Weaker” candidate has won Silchar convincingly.
